....make a whole.
To make a rainbow, there is the rain, associated with doom and gloom, and the sunshine, associated with happiness and joy. These two things put together, make the beauty that is a rainbow, the same way they make us. We're all beautiful, despite these two contrasting sides. We're all beautiful.

I must admit, I'm feeling rather happy at coming up with something so deep.

=natalienoodles will probably recognise this from when she saw my old sketchbooks. The one from about two years ago, in fact. So this isn't something new. Well, it was formerly in pastels, but here you have it in vexel glory. :D Enjoy.

This. is. stunning. So simple, yet so colorful! Maybe you could add something like a sun, because rainbows need sun? Words cannot even describe how great this is. I never knew something so simple could be, so,.....amazing!!

Nay. Adding an actual sun would ruin the entire concept and meaning behind this piece. It'd also spoil the composition. D: The background is full of sunrays, so a sun us not needed in the umage. Even though its filled with sunrays, theres still darkness. Because despite being how polluted and damaged the world is, and despite the amount of sins people have committed, the sun still shines on the world, no matter how blackened with our abuse it gets and people can still smile, despite the torment other people are suffering, because its all they can do. Clouds come and go, but the streets are still dirty whether we can see that or not. The sins remain. But many people will still live in the world and smile, and give the world colour. Someone will always smile and stay positive on a cloudy day, even if its just one person. Maybe that sounds a but daft. But something simple can have a lot of meaning. ^^;
